BBC's Decision to Axe 6 Music
by
John A Hamilton-G
Today, the 11th of March 2010 is the 8th birthday of the BBC digital radio station, 6 Music. In a few days we will hear if the plans to axe the station will go ahead and I thought I'd share my thoughts with you. I have always been a supporter of the BBC and the license fee.

Costs of Famous UK Logo Designs
by
Charlie John
Not every well known brand was created for exorbitant prices. I believe most of us are aware of the fact that some famous logos were made for a miserly cost, but the same logos are now the rationale behind the most eminent brands in the world.

Tying the Knot for Brits
by
Jerry Carpos
The Brits decided to go beyond the usual churchyard weddings. Contrary to what others think, the Brits made it easy to deal the most tricky part of the wedding -- deciding where to spend the big day and the first weeks of wedded bliss.

Does Alternative Comedy Have Mainstream Appeal?
by
Andrew Dingley
The growth of alternative comedy nights has been uncharacteristically fast for the entertainment industry. Since the year 2000, the number of venues running comedy clubs in London alone has increased from approximately 25 to over 100. So what lead to this growth? Have the comedians change their material, or have audience reactions and attitudes to alternative comedy changed?

Gavin and Stacey - Could it Become a Classic British Sitcom?
by
Jim Woolley
The Gavin And Stacey Christmas special was shown on UK television on Christmas Eve and for me it was the best program I watched over the holiday period. I was expecting The Royle Family to be the pick of the bunch but surprisingly I actually enjoyed Gavin And Stacey more. So how good is this series and could it become a classic British sitcom?

How Not to Lose Weight!
by
Kevin Raison
Do cardio - Cardio (after about 8 weeks) increases your stress hormone cortisol. Your sub-conscious doesn't know the difference between running or a cardio machine. So when you perform cardio, your body thinks you're being chased or chasing something. Cortisol kicks in and helps your body store fat as a survival instinct. We are after all just cavemen and women in clothes.

Katie Hopkins has gone viral recently due to her comments on This Morning about her children forming friendships with kids that have names like Tyler and Chardonnay. After the outrage has settled down, I actually feel sorry for Katie.
