Elections Miracle
by
Tirumala Prasad
There is no guarantee that the targeted masses receive all the benefits from the welfare programmes being implemented by the successive governments both at the central level and at various state levels. Similarly, there is no guarantee that culprits would be punished during their life term in India. But the gifts, money, and liquor, etc being distributed by various political parties do reach to a voter even at the remotest part of India successfully!

Staff Selection Commission - Largest Indian Agency for Government Recruitments
by
Alina William
Wondering how India's government staffing agencies conduct selection of the deserving candidates in a fair manner out of the thousands applying against each job? The Union Government and various state governments in India have developed a system for selection and recruitment to ensure fair process and identify meritorious candidates for each post. The central government has established various agencies like UPSC and Staff Selection Commission for selection of prospective candidates to fill jobs in its offices, while some states such as National Capital Territory of Delhi and Uttar Pradesh have their own recruiting agencies, viz.

Is There Still Hope for India?
by
Sidharth Singh
With each passing day, I am becoming more and more attached to the Indian Story. What keeps me engrossed to this story is a ray of hope that I have for this country. No matter how deeply entrenched we are into troubles, there has always been that slimmer of hope that one fine day, India will awaken. With my finite and still developing cognition, I have tried to bring to the fore a few primary reasons for India's tepid growth over the past one year. To be honest, there are many graver issues in our country than slow GDP. Sometimes I reckon, India is like a Gold Mine for story hunters. With a population in excess of a billion, not to forget the diversity, there is a story waiting to be told in every nook and corner. Some of these are happy tales, those that inspire. Others are grim dark and sorrowful. I wish to bring forward as many of those tales as possible. From the joys of victory in a Cricket series to shocking tales of acute poverty; from communal escapades to political howlers. All of that interspersed with the occasional travelogue.

Right to Information Act - India
by
Shailendra Sial
India is the largest democracy of the world which means real power lies in the hands of the common man. Unfortunately, it wasn't true till 2005 (58 years after independence). But now an Indian citizen has the power which can make government accountable and enables him to twist the arm of government when it is found on wrong foot steps.
